4×4 Mountain Offroad Driving Course from Aberfeldy

At the start of the experience you’ll arrive at the safari lodge just outside Aberfeldy where you will meet your guide and sign in for your driving experience.

Setting off from the safari lodge you’ll swap the passenger seat and get behind the wheel of the Land Rover Defender. 

With your friendly and experienced Lantra qualified instructor at your side you’ll forge your way along forest tracks, through mountain burns and up slippery slopes. Putting the vehicle through its paces you’ll experience driving through water courses and across seemingly impossible terrain. Climb up steep accents and through tight gullies. These are seriously go-anywhere machines.

The vehicle

This experience utilises a 4×4 Land Rover Defender vehicle. It has been specifically chosen for its off-roading capabilities and make climbing through the Perthshire mountains a breeze.
