This amazing flight experience allows the budding pilot in you to take the controls of a light aircraft for a flying lesson at Glasgow Airport. This flight experience offers the thrill of actually flying a light aircraft over Scotland!

After checking in at the flight school in Glasgow there is a safety briefing and familiarisation of the aircraft. Your instructor who will explain all aspects of the flight including the effects of controls and how an aeroplane flies. On-board, you’ll complete pre-flight checks and your instructor will start the plane and take off.

Once at cruising altitude you’ll take control of the aircraft. Under the supervision of the instructor you’ll first learn how to fly ‘straight and level’ before increasingly putting the plane though manoeuvres including, turning, climbing and descending.

You’ll get amazing panoramic views of the area including local towns, railways, the motorway and landscape as you fly past. See local landmarks and even fly past your house if you live in the area (and air traffic control allows!).
