Stand Up Paddle boarding Adventure on Loch Lomond

An offshoot of traditional surfing which originated in Hawaii, stand up paddle boarding is one of the newest and fastest-growing sports in the world!

SUP has blossomed over the last few years, which has seen the sport diverge from the huge waves and surf to inland waterways. This nationally recognised course is a fantastic chance to hone your technique at stand up paddle boarding.

Arriving at the centre at Luss Pier you’ll meet your instructor for the activity. If you’ve never paddled before, this experience is the ideal way to enhance your skill level. Build your talents and gain confidence on the water. Start off kneeling on the board and use the paddle to steer and to move forwards until eventually you will have the confidence to stand up.

Once you set off from Luss you will be completely independent and enjoy the freedom to explore Loch Lomond at your own pace on this 2 hour experience.

Situated within the Loch Lomond and the Trossachs National Park this activity takes place in beautiful surroundings. The tree-lined loch offers safe and sheltered waters to take part in an exciting range of activities.

Sup is a fun activity which is suitable for all ages and easy to learn, mixing outdoor recreation with sightseeing and makes for a unique, fun and exciting way to explore Loch Lomond!

The equipment of a board, paddle and buoyancy aid are included. All participants will receive a safety induction from a qualified BCU staff member.

Once the experience is complete, you will receive a certificate that will enable you to use your own equipment and hire from any location in the future.
