60 Minute Microlight Flight from East Fortune Airfield

Take to the sky in a flex wing aircraft and experience flying as you never have before!

Upon arrival you will be met by your flying instructor, who will go through a full safety briefing with you and introduce you to your aircraft- a Flex Wing P&M Quik R.

After donning your flying suit and helmet you’ll be introduced to the aircraft before carrying out a pre-flight brief and safety checks. After start up you’ll taxi out for take off.

This versatile ultralight sport aircraft has been designed for performance and handling and has great stability at all speeds and weights.

Experience the exhilarating sensation of open cockpit flying and try your hand at climbing, turning, cruising and descending in the microlight.

During the flight, you will be able to hear your instructor talking to airfield operations and other aircraft in the area.

When at a safe altitude you will be offered the controls. Under the safe supervision of your instructor, put the aircraft through different maneuverers. Learn how to turn, climb and descend, matching engine power and pitch.

On this extended 60 minute flight, you will be spoilt with all the beautiful scenery and landmarks. With exceptional views of the East Lothian Coastline you’ll have unrivalled views of North Berwick, The Bass Rock and Tantallon Castle and the Lammermuir hills and Haddington to the south. If you live in the area you can even fly past your house!
