This Segway Thrill is a popular experience, suitable for all, this experience will allow you to get to grips with the controls of a Segway and you will have plenty of time to immerse yourselves and have some fun! 

Segways are electric-powered personal transporters that look like space-age gadgets!

As you arrive at Vogrie Country Park near, Gorebridge you will need to follow the signposts directing you to the Segway Pod where you will register and complete the paperwork. You will then be kitted up in the essential safety gear before being give a brief introduction to your Segway experience.

Then you and your fellow riders will head out on your Segway rally.  Once you have built your confidence up and completed a few short games, you will be taken on a guided tour around Vogrie where you will be shown any obstacles and areas to avoid.  

You will then be set free to unleash the true speed of your Segway and practice your new found skills, all the while experiencing the excitement of a Segway Experience!

On this fun experience you will explore the grounds of you will ‘glide’ through the estate over the expansive woodlands and skirt around the gardens. As you travel along paths and over-land your confidence will grow and your control will become more precise.

All the clever tech stuff is hidden inside the vehicle and you’ll be amazed at how stable they are. It’s all about balance, using your body’s positioning to manoeuvre faster and slower, leaning into corners left and right. It quickly becomes intuitive and you’ll be ‘gliding’ in no time!

If your skill level allows, your instructor will set your segway from beginner to standard for a faster ride.
