This spooky daytime ghost walk is Scotland’s most haunted underground experience and is not for the faint hearted! Embark on a journey through the paranormal underworld of Edinburgh’s old town as you venture through 500 years of history, crime and murder.

After joining the tour at the Royal Mile meeting point, your ghoulish tour guide will take you on a historical journey down the Royal Mile and will reveal Auld Reekie’s dark past.

The tour arrives at what seems like a normal door, but as you venture through it you’ll enter the infamous South Bridge vaults. Hear tales of how the poor and unfortunate lived in these former slums. Explore the dimly lit vaults, once the realm of criminals, body snatchers and witches alike! Dating back to the 1700s there is a lot of history down there, not all of which can be explained.

Each vault has stories of crime, disease and death with which your guide shall enlighten you with all the gory details. You will see a genuine witchcraft temple, recently used by the “Source Coven of the Blue Dragon” . Enter their place of worship to learn why it was no longer safe for them to practise their craft in that vault. Dare you step inside the infamous stone circle?

The atmosphere underground is chillingly tense, just as it was all those years ago. As you emerge back into the daylight you will be left with unanswered questions about what you experienced.
